Midas was extremely happy that his wish was granted, He touched an apple, at once it turned into a pure gold apple. He was overwhelmed and in the same pleasure, he went to his palace and started to touch various items and turned them into pure gold. His servants and all the people in the palace were astonished to see all this. They were also glad to see so much gold in the palace.
The next morning, Midas woke up and went to breakfast. As he picked up a bread slice to eat, it turned into old. He picked up a glass of milk, it’s too turned into gold. Midas was touching the eatables and before goring to his mouth, all these eatable items turned into gold. Now the Midas had realized how foolish his wish was. He started to weep. Her beautiful daughter rushed to him to know what happened,
“Don\t come near me”, Midas cried.
The beautiful princess did not listen and rushed her father to hug. As soon as the daughter embraced Midas, the beautiful princess turned into a lifeless, golden statue!
Midas rushed to his rose garden and called loudly Dionysus for the help. He begged god to take away his touch power and restore his daughter to her real condition. Dionysus offered Midas a solution to change his behavior of gold. Midas promised that he would never be a miser and spend all his gold for the betterment of his people.
