Short Stories with Moral

Once upon a time, there were four students in a college. They were fast friends. They were not good by nature and often told a lie. As other students like these, they too hated studying. Instead of utilizing their time in studies, they wander aimlessly and wasted their time. Throughout the nights, they partied and did not prepare themselves for the examination.
The date of the test had come. They planned to skip the test by telling a lie. They went to the principals and told him that while they had been to a wedding ceremony during the last night. When they were coming back, the tire of their vehicle burst. They did not have a spare tire. There was also no tire shop from where they could get repaired tire. Consequently, they had to drag the car all the way. Hence, they were not able to prepare for the examination.
Four students were very happy. They were thinking that they had made fool not only their teacher but also the principal. The four friends studied hard to take the examination. They were confident to pass the exam with good marks. On the day, when their test was going to be taken, the principal made them sit in four separate classrooms. The test had 100 marks. In the test, the students were asked merely these question,
  • Name
Which tire of the car burst?
  • Front Left
  • Front Right
  • Back Left
  • Back Right
None of them gave the equal answer. As the event was absolutely based on a lie, each student gave its different answer. All the students presented before the principal and admitted their fault. They promised never to do it again in their past and use their time to make their future better.
