A long time ago, there live 2 buffaloes in a forest. Both were the very fast friends and loved each other. Both the Buffaloes did everything together. All the time they stayed together and grazed in the green meadow. Due to their unity, no animals dared to kill them for food.
In the forest, there lived a lion. He tried much time to kill the animals but failed due to their strength. He wanted to eat the healthy meat of these shinning animals but could not do except to watch them grazing happily.
In the forest, there also lived a fox. She was very clever and knew all about the wish of the lion. One day, she came to the lion and said, Oh the king of all the animals! “Why you seemed so much dejected”?
I wanted to enjoy the meat of these buffaloes but cannot do so. Whenever I, tried, they united and make me run away. It is very disgracing for me”. Replied the lion.
Dear King! “I can help you”. The fox said.
How is it possible? When does a powerful lion fail to kill these powerful buffaloes, how can a week fox do the same? Asked the lion.
“Leave it upon me. Just promise that you will also invite me to enjoy the meet of these tasty buffaloes”. Replied the fox.
“Ok! It’s done”. Said the lion
The fox knew it well that unless both are united, none can harm them. She planned to put the poison seed to separate them. One day as she got a chance to find one of the buffaloes alone, she came near and said, Oh my dear brother! “Have you hear, what your friend was telling you”?
“No, I do not know. What he had said to you”? Asked the animals.
“Your friend was saying me that I am more powerful than my friend. If I do not remain with him, the lion will eat him up. Because of me, no tiger or lion is able to kill him”. Said the fox. The same word fox said to the other buffalo. This made both the friend to fight each other and they became separate. Now they were not together and started to graze in different directions.
The fox went to the lion and asked her to attack the animal one by one. The lion found a buffalo grazing alone. He thought it was a perfect time to kill the animal. He attacked the animals and killed him. After a few days, he killed another buffalo and both the friends were hunted by the lion. It was all due to their quarrel and disunity.

Moral: Unity is Strength.
