One day, a few mariners set out to the ocean in their sailing ship. One of them brought his pet monkey along for the long adventure.
When they were far out adrift, a frightful storm upset their ship. Everybody fell into the ocean, and the monkey was certain that he would drown. All of a sudden a dolphin showed up and lifted him up.
They soon reached the island and the monkey descended from the dolphin's back. The dolphin asked the monkey,
"Do you know this place?"
The monkey answered,
"Indeed, I do. Actually, the king of this island is my closest friend. Do you realize that I am really a prince?"
Realizing that nobody lived on the island, the dolphin stated,
"Well, well, so you are a prince! Now you can be a king!"
The monkey asked, "How might I be a king?"
As the dolphin began swimming ceaselessly, he replied, "That is simple. As you are the only animal on this island, you will normally be the ruler!"
