A Merchant and his Donkey

Short Stories with Moral

One lovely spring morning, a merchant stacked his donkey with bags of salt to go to the market for sale. The vendor and his jackass were strolling along together. They had not gone far when they achieved a stream in transit.
Sadly, the jackass slipped and fell into the waterway. As it mixed up the bank of the waterway, it saw that the packs of salt stacked on his back had turned out to be lighter.
There was nothing the merchant could do aside from return home, where he stacked his jackass with more sacks of salt. As they reached the slippery riverbank, the jackass fell into the river, this time purposely. Subsequently, the salt was squandered once more. At this point, the merchant knew the jackass' trap. He wanted the animal to teach him a lesson.
As he returned home the second time with the jackass, the trader stacked sacks of cotton on its back.
The pair set out on their trip to the market a third time. On reaching the river, the jackass cunningly fell into the water once more. Now, rather than the heap getting to be lighter, it ended up heavier.
The dealer laughed at the jackass and stated, "You silly jackass, your trap has been found. You should realize that you can't trick anybody too often."

Moral;

Don’t underestimate anyone and try not to make the fool
