Short Stories with Moral
Sometime in the distant past, there lived an exceptionally rich and well-off man in a big town. He had a lot of wealth and led his life in all luxuries of life. This rich man often bragged about his riches to his companions and relatives.
His elder son was getting an education in the nearby city. Once he returned home for get-away. The rich man needed to flaunt to his child how rich he was. In any case, his child wasn't enamored with any sumptuous way of life. Nonetheless, the rich man wanted to influence his child to understand that his way of life was to a great degree rich and that needy individuals endured a considerable measure. He arranged a day's visit to the whole town to demonstrate to his son the life of the poor people.
The father and the son took a chariot and went to the whole town. They returned home following two days. The father was upbeat that his child was tranquil in the wake of seeing the destitute individuals regarding the rich man and in the wake of seeing the sufferings of the poor because of the absence of facilities.
The rich man asked his son, "Dear kid, how was the outing? Have you appreciated it?"
"Truly my father, it was an awesome trek with you," the son answered.
"Along these lines, what did you gain from the trek?" the father inquired.
The child was quiet.
"At last you have acknowledged how the poor endure and how they in reality live," said the father.
"No father," answered the son. He resumed, "We have just two digs, and they have 10 dogs. We have a pool in our garden, however, they have a massive bay with no end! We have sumptuous and costly lights imported from different countries, yet they have innumerable stars lighting their evenings. We have a house on a little piece of land, whereas, they have bounteous fields that go into the great beyond. We are secured by gigantic and solid dividers around our property, yet they bond with each other and encircle themselves with their kindred creatures. We need to purchase food from them, whereas they are so rich that they grow their own food."
The rich father was dazed and confused, on hearing his child's words.
At last, the child included, "Father, thank you such a great amount for demonstrating to me who is rich and who is poor. Much thanks to you for giving me a chance to see how poor we truly are!"
