Long ago, the people of a land lived joyfully under the lead of a ruler. All the people of the land were exceptionally upbeat as they drove an extremely prosperous existence with a plenitude of riches and no disasters.
Once, the Lord decided to visit the spots of historical significance and pilgrim centers far-off places. He decided to travel by foot to interface with his kin. Individuals of far-off spots were extremely happy to have a discussion with their lord. They were glad that their lord had a kind heart.
After a few weeks, the lord came back to the royal residence. He was very cheerful that he had gone to numerous pilgrim shrines and saw his kin having a prosperous existence. Nonetheless, he had one lament.
He had unbearable pain in his feet as it was his first trek by foot covering a long distance. He whined to his clergymen that the streets weren't comfortable and that they were extremely stony. He couldn't endure the torment. He said that he was especially stressed over the general population who needed to stroll along those streets as it would be agonizing for them as well!
Considering this, he requested his workers to cover the streets in the entire nation with cowhide so the general population of his kingdom can walk easily.
The ruler's pastors were shocked to hear his request as it would imply that a huge number of dairy animals would need to be butchered so as to get an adequate amount of cowhide. Furthermore, it would cost a gigantic measure of cash moreover.
At long last, an insightful man from the ministry went to the king and said that he had another thought. The ruler asked what the option was. The priest stated, "Rather than covering the streets with cowhide, why not simply have a bit of calfskin sliced fit as a fiddle to cover your feet?"
The ruler was especially astounded by his proposal and commended the knowledge of his minister. He requested a couple of calfskin shoes for himself and asked for all his comrades additionally to wear shoes.
Moral
Instead of attempting to change the world, we should endeavor to change ourselves.
