Short Stories with Moral

One day a little turtle was taking rest under the cool shadow of a green tree. There was a nest on the tree, built by a bird. They were both friends but turtle had a bad habit of cutting jokes and insulting others. One day as it was his hobby, he said to the bird, “What a silly home you have made”?
It is not beautiful and is made of broken twigs, leaves and threads. How does a house look like, which has even no roof? The worse is that you himself build it. My shell is better than yours. It is strong and provides me with dangerous animals.
Certainly, my house is made of broken twigs, straw and sticks. Probably, it does not look so beautiful and awesome. But I himself build it with hard labor and I like it too much. The little bird replied.
“What is special in your nest? It is just any other nest of other birds. It is still not better than mine. You must be jealous of my shell”. Said the tortoise.
“My nest is a sheltered place for my family. It has space for my family and friends. We all sit together and enjoy the company of each other.  On the contrary, your shell cannot accommodate anybody other than you”. Replied the bird.

Moral: Better a Crowded Hut than a Lonely Mansion.
