It was a chilly and quiet night. The climate was frosty chilly. A group of monkeys were on a tree. They were sticking to its branches. One of the monkeys stated,

"I wish we could discover some fire. It will help us keeping warm."

All of a sudden they saw a rush of fireflies. One of the monkeys thought it was fire. He got a firefly. He put it under a dry leaf and began blowing at it. Some other monkeys likewise participated in his endeavors.

In the in the meanwhile, a sparrow came flying to its nest which was on a similar tree the monkeys were perched on. She saw what they were doing. The sparrow snickered and stated,

"Hello foolish monkeys! That is a firefly, not genuine fire. I consider all you should take shelter in a cave."

The monkeys did not tune in to the sparrow. They kept on blowing at the poor firefly.
After some time, the monkeys became very tired. Now they understood that what the sparrow had said was right. They set free the firefly and moved to an adjacent cave.
