Once, there was an old man who had four sons. Every one of them four were exceptionally lazy. Even they have grown up as adult but they do not work. The old man was much worried about that as to survive in the world, hard work is indispensable.
One day, the old man fell serious ill. It seemed to him that he was counting his last breaths. He stressed a great deal over his children's future. The old man's health decayed daily. One day, he decided to converse with his children about their future. In any case, his children did not hear him out.
At last, the old man decided to play a trick to give his children a chance to understand the significance of work. He called every one of his children and let them sit close him on his bed. He said that he had a treasure box with gold coins and costly pearls for them and wanted to share the treasure equally among them four.
All the four sons were extremely glad and asked where his dad had put the fortune. The old man answered, "I can't precisely recall where I have hidden the wealth. However, the treasure box is buried in our farm land.”
Despite the fact that the lazy sons were happy, they were miserable that the old man had overlooked where the fortune was covered up. Following a couple of days, the old man passed on. The children decided to dig the land to discover the treasure box.
They worked hard and dug up their whole farmland. They couldn't discover any treasure.
A wise man who was watching the entire moments, advised the children to cultivate the land. “As the land is already, you just need to throw the seeds. It will not cost anymore.” Said the wise man.
Upon his recommendation, the four children sowed vegetable seeds, and planted greens and blooming plants in their property. Since the land was fertile, the barren land turned into rich garden with abundance of vegetables and greens. They sold all these farm products in good price and gained a lot of profit. At that point they realized that it was diligent work that was alluded to as 'Treasure Box' by their dad. Bit by bit, the four children defeated their apathy, worked hard, earned more cash and lived cheerfully.
